Special Containment Procedures: SCP-7194 is to be kept in a room with ultraviolet lighting on at all times. No living plant specimens should come within a 20 meter proximity of SCP-7194. In the event of a power outage, SCP-7194 is to be encased in a metal sphere. SCP-7194 grows faster than normal crystals, and is to be partially broken and incinerated every 5 months to prevent a containment breach.
Description: SCP-7194 is a very lustrous specimen of violet tanzanite, found in .................., Tanzania on ....-....-.... When SCP-7194 comes into contact with any species of plant, all parts of the plant will be converted into a non-anomalous tanzanite crystal, which takes the shape of the plant that was transformed. When ultraviolet light is shined on SCP-7194, it will become "dormant" and not convert plants to crystals. It is currently unknown why this occurs.
