Special Containment Procedures: There is no definitive way to contain SCP-3016. SCP-3016-1 should not be used for studio purposes. Any [REDACTED] employee who has seen SCP-3016 disappear or reappear should be given [REDACTED] amnestics. SCP-3016-2 should be contained at the foundation's site in Burbank, California. Under no circumstances should SCP-3016 be able to roam around the site. See Incident 3016-1 for more details.
SCP-3016-2, before becoming animate.
Description: SCP-3016-1 is a building that is located in the [REDACTED] studio in Burbank, California. The buildinghas "Termite Terrace" above the entrance. It was used to create iconic cartoons such as Buggs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and The Warner Brothers (and The Warner Sister!) The studio was abandoned in ████ after being burnt down after a wildfire broke out near the [REDACTED] studio. The building remained abandoned and dilapidated until ████ when the building seemingly disappeared without a trace.
The building reappeared once again at the studio in ████. Out of curiosity, an employee working at the studio entered the building, and drew a [DATA EXPUNGED]. The "creature", now designated SCP-3016-2, came out of the paper and began spouting incoherent nonsense. The building, and SCP-3016-2, received foundation attention when reports of ink blobs began appearing at the studio. SCP-3016 instances were later captured and put in Foundation custody.
In summary, SCP-3016-2 are creatures that have a rectangular shape, albeit deformed. The creatures can come out of paper and move and "talk", however this talking is usually gibberish. SCP-3016-2 can interact with other drawings, as well as real world objects. (This is what caused Incident 3016-1). The creatures can also shapeshift into puddles, and phase through walls, however this rarely happens. SCP-3016 can pull out objects that look like mallets, although most of the time they have no effect and cannot do harm (again, most of the time.) SCP-3016 have no facial features, but can grow hands or legs, and retract them as well. SCP-3016-2 do not need to be fed, and most likely can survive without air. When water, or any liquid is poured onto SCP-3016-2, the creature will disintegrate almost immediately, turning into a greyish substance, that has a similar texture to jelly.
INCIDENT 3016-1
On █/█/████, a SCP-3016-2 instance attempted to breach containment, in which it did successfully. The creature grabbed various sharp objects and threw them at foundation personnel, in which it killed 4 personnel, 3 of which were D-Classes. The creature then grabbed a blob of ink that was following it, and upon grabbing it, the blob turned into a hammer, most likely a mallet. The creature threw the hammer at more personnel, this time killed 6 personnel, and injuring 7 more. SCP-3016-2 was successfully recontained after ████████ ████ had ██████ the creature, and put it back in it's cell.
